With Erik Fosnes Hansen as the guide and Henning Kraggerud as the musical leader you will be led through an incredible, comical and touching journey through the Baroque.
What was it about Johann Sebastian Bach’s eyes? What happened to Jean-Baptiste Lully after he hurt himself on his baton? What kind of charlatans treated George Friedrich Händel? And why were there so many orphans in the children’s home where Antonio Vivaldi was a teacher?
The most beautiful music in history and the imaginative style of the Baroque was born through people who had experienced, that beauty and suffering always go together.
At this concert you will hear stories that will make you laugh and music so beautiful that it can touch your gallstone. Welcome to an evening of Baroque.
